At Full-Time Cover, we pride ourselves on first-rate, tailored policies
With the brewery and microbrewery industry growing, you don’t want insurance cover that’s only a glass half full. Your beers are a carefully blended art, and your insurance policy should be the same. With Full-Time Cover, we are an independent broker and you can be sure that we’ll work with you to find the right protection for your brewery. With transparent fees and trusted insurers, you can be sure your business will be well looked after. With the benefit of a personal account handler that sees you through from placing the business, policy adjustments, and claims, if needed.
The recipe for success
You may have found that standard Commercial Insurance policies don’t quite make the grade. Whether you’re a small start-up or have multiple brewing locations, our team will take the time to get to know you, your business, your people, and your brews, so that we can advise the best policy to suit you. We cover start-ups to larger breweries, single brewpubs as well as distilleries.
FTC is a niche insurance broker that specialises in hospitality and breweries insurance. We are truly independent with a love and passion for what we do. We are always on hand to offer sensible risk management tips and advice, suitable to the size of the brewery.
This is covered for your products or stock, whether it’s being collected or distributed by you – This is the UK only as standard, but we can extend this to outside the UK if needed.
A lot of covers are optional, and shaped around you, your needs and can be premium driven to fit budgets.
There is nothing more depressing than having to recall a batch of your product, your hard work and skill, and knowledge, which may have been contaminated or defective along the way. Insurance covers you for the logistics in returning the stock and the stock itself. It makes the process marginally less heart-breaking.
GET IN TOUCH
This is cover in place to protect you from a claim from a member of the public. If you allow the public in at any given time, either through touring of the brewery or guest food and drinks evenings, you will need public liability insurance. If someone injures themselves the cover in place will take care of defending your brewery in legal defences and compensation if awarded.
Defending yourself can be extremely stressful and expensive if you don’t have expert advice on hand a phone call away.
You will need to meet all relevant standards and requirements. If you fail to do this, there may be an issue at the point of claim if anything was to happen. If you employ 6 staff or more you will need regular risk assessments.
If you produce beer and sell it to any members of the public, you will need some form of insurance, of course, the cost and needs of the insurance are much reduced on a smaller scale operation.
If you have a product recall cover then yes you do. You are only covered for what you’ve told us you make so be sure to update your cover. Also, if new equipment is installed it’s important the policy is updated.
